About

Why I Started Wildlings

Hi, I’m Natalie Herendeen, CEO | Founder of Wildlings Conservatory. I grew up in the Salinas Valley, CA, and have a deep love for this community and my hometown. I started Wildlings Conservatory to help people reconnect with the earth, each other, and themselves. I believe caring for land, supporting human wellbeing, and strengthening community all belong together.

Mission:

Wildlings Conservatory nurtures ecocentric community development, conservation of wild lands, and collective healing through advocacy for sustainable systems, innovative solutions, and second chances that repair harm to our earth, communities, and all sentient beings who share this planet.

Vision:

A world where people and communities come together in compassion, love, and reciprocity to restore ecosystems and uplift all life. Through conserving wild lands and reimagining urban spaces, we cultivate places where all beings can thrive in balance on this magical and shared planet.
